A quick and scrumptious triple berry tart with fresh whipped cream for two!
Yields: 2 | Prep-time: 30 mins. Cook time: 5 mins for the crust, 15-20 minutes with filling
I N G R E D I E N T S
1 cup of frozen mixed berries
1 pre-made pie crust (you can make yours from scratch if you’d like, this one is NOT vegan)
2tbs of corn starch
2 ½ tbs of sugar
2tbs of fresh lemon juice
D I R E C T I O N S
First, add your lemon juice, sugar, and corn starch to the cup of berries.
Macerate (soften or become softened by soaking in a liquid ) for 30 mins.
Grease and line your tart dish with the dough, poke a couple of holes at the bottom for ventilation.
Bake crusts for 5 mins at 375 and once ready, fill the crusts with the filling and cook for 20 mins (until set).
Let sit for about 10 minutes until cool and top with fresh whipped cream!
